About Pixies
Boston, Massachusetts has a considerable chapter in the history of American rock music, a large part of that due to the Pixies. The band, which operated from 1985 to 1993, has released some of the alternative rock scene's greatest albums in Surfer Rosa and Doolittle, as well as produced the follow up careers of Francis Black and the Breeders after the Pixies' breakup.
